" After seeing J. Perez handmade guitars on eBay and being impressed I started emailing him about a build for me. My hands are small and now a bit old a decrepit (lol) so I don't play 25.5" scales anymore- which eliminates many commercial guitars. I do have a PRS and a Kiesel with 25" scales and they work for me. So my idea was a Wolfgang guitar with a Les Paul 24 3/4"scale and a better trem. So after many emails, Mr. Perez went to work with my requests. I chose his LS design with Floyd "the 84" trem, Wolfgang pups, roasted flame maple neck, Birdseye maple fretboard. Body is alder with maple cap in retro surf green with white pearloid pickguard. In just 6 weeks he produced an affordable guitar with impeccable workmanship and attention to detail that sounds and plays great. Also not heavy. He communicated and sent me pics all the way which was a great help. I recommend Mr. Perez very highly. You simply won't get an affordable guitar of this quality from the big companies.
